Awesome that you are already thinking about the postpartum period! A time when everything is upside down and a time when you deserve to pay attention to yourself! Based on your own wishes and needs we make a beautiful start of motherhood: together we create a tailored postpartum treatment in the comfort of your own home. For all the treatments listed below, it is important that they are to be applied properly to achieve the best effect. Through my training at Kiki Mae, I have been trained in this by a number of power women (Corinne Laan (moxa and acupressure massage), Isabelle Latreille (yoni steam), Dewi Ni Wayan Ambara (bengkung bellybinding)).

Moxa
Moxa therapy (also called heat therapy) has its origins in Chinese medicine. This involves using a stick of pressed mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). By applying heat to specific areas in the lower back and abdominal area, moxa has the advantage of bringing heat deep into the body. In addition, it provides a boost to your circulation and has a relaxing and soothing effect.

Postpartum acupressure massage (relaxation massage)
A massage is an ultimate moment for yourself, in which you are allowed to completely relax. A massage improves blood circulation, giving you support for your back (and shoulders) in your recovery.
During the massage I make sure you can relax, I support you physically and emotionally. There is space and time for your baby, should it be time to feed.

Let’s create an event together that you will look back on with much love and joy in twenty years!

Yoni steam
This ancient traditional treatment has its origins all over the world (even in the Netherlands). During this treatment, you sit above steaming herbal water which steams your vulva and uterus. You can think of it as a kind of sauna that is soothing, relieving and relaxing. This can also support you in the period of recovery after childbirth.

Bengkung bellybinding
After your baby has been in your warm belly for 9 months, your belly may feel empty after delivery. In addition, all organs need to find their place again. This Malaysian form of bellybinding offers loving support in this process. After a gentle belly massage with castor oil, a soft cotton fabric with simple knots wraps the belly.
